In preparing for the 5K Making Strides, I have been out every a.m. walking for at least 45 min. and when I come home I feel exhilarated! Somehow all the aches and pains just go by the wayside.  I have got to keep reminding myself that no matter how bad I might feel, if I get GOING, IT WILL REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY ATTITUDE!!!

Okay PJ,

As always, you've inspired me to get back to the exercising....I was good for a bit...then I started slacking.  Now that I've read this I feel like I have to start again!!  Between exercising, writing congressmen and all the other empowering things you talk about, I'm going to be a much better person by the time I get through all this!!  You need to add "Life Coach" to your resume!!

Joking aside....I do appreciate the inspiration and you do help me to feel "empowered"...and that is invaluable to me.

I'm glad that, even sitting in the dark parking lot of the Truro Public Library, about 6 miles south of Provincetown on the very tip of Cape Cod (which is where I've gone to get Internet access - library is closed, wi-fi isn't), I'm able to inspire you guys to keep moving! Some days I get up and just think, "Oh, no, not today..." - but if I skip it, I really do feel icky. Exercise - even though sometimes it hurts, it "can't hurt, can only help." Keep up the good work, koponen and Esther!-PJH
