But, as you say, they do make you feel better. And I'd like to disagree (agreeably) with you about energy flow; you can believe it's simply a physical/chemical/muscle reaction. I can believe it's spiritual energy. We're each entitled to our opinion. That's what makes for lively discussion!

I am an RN and PT, and all the things you mention that helped you are based on one concept, and that is diversion. It doesn't matter what is offered it takes you away from yourself and makes one feel better. Yoga does not cure breast cancer, not does accupucture. Energy does not flow, it is a chemical reaction in the muscle.
