PJ, Thanks for a beautiful tribute to a man who has inspired so many people. His book is this year's summer reading for rising ninth graders at my school. I talked to Kenzie, one of my students, about Randy's death. She said, "It was sad because when you read the book, you feel connected to him." Kenzie believes reading the book has made her think about the difference between her important dreams and the little things that don't matter. With his book, Randy Pausch is still fulfilling his dream of helping young people reach their dreams even after his death. What greater legacy could anyone leave?
As always, PJ, your words seem to hit the right spot - thank you for expressing what I think so many of us feel today, as we think about the ones Randy left behind and then in our own selfish ways, think about those we love, about our lives and as Randy reminded us all, about our own dreams...
