I couldn't agree more with the previous comment. I also live in DC, and seeing posters in my neighborhood that show a woman's torso with the words "kick it" across it makes me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. There was a serious lack of thinking in this campaign--wouldn't this money be better spent promoting safety and health for women?

This is truly unbelievable! A brutal attack on everyone. I just can't beleive Komen thought this reaches out to anyone except the mentally ill, never mind to minority women and young women? I have started sending this to Komen media email adressess and on their on web site to take (political) action: I strongly object to this ad. To put this extremely violent message on a young woman's headless torso sends an implicit message condoning violence towards women. I very much doubt that you intended to use the imagery of one killer of women in your fight against another killer of women. Please discontinue this ad campaign and offer an apology to the community.
