That was a super post! I agree! I just went through a bilateral mastectomy and I would like to help other women, but on a personal level, not in a hospital setting.

Good for you, Jackie - for wanting to reach out. Perhaps your local hospital offers some kind of "reach out" program. It's worth asking the social workers, esp. those involved with breast cancer women. The connection then doesn't have to happen in the hospital setting, but can be a casual cup of coffee, a walk... anything you (and your "connectee") would like. Good luck! - PJH
