You are quick to point out that studies showing a link between abortion and breast cancer are flawed but the Danish study you site, which you tout as birthing the long list of studies since showing no link, was also seriously flawed in that 60,000 women whose abortions were recorded in the Danish Life Statistics between 1940 and 1973 were counted by Melbye et al. as NOT having had an abortion, although a number of them developed breast cancer. Additionally, Melbye and colleagues started recording breast cancer cases in 1968, but recorded abortions starting in 1973. This is shockingly unscientific. Melbye and colleagues implicitly corrected these errors in a subsequent study in 1999 entitled, "Preterm Delivery and Risk of Breast Cancer," British Journal of Cancer (1999); 80:609-613
The biggest organizations are often the most politicized. How long did it take to get the word about the link between lung cancer and cigarettes out there? And cigarettes are just a big pocketbook...the abortion industry is that and so much more!
Simply look at a map of the world. Time Magazine just put an issue where each part of the globe was represented in a different colourbased on occurences of breast cancer.
Now, find a map that shows you the occurences of abortions. The similarities are staggering, to say the least.
Let's attempt to err on the side of caution, to say the least.
