Having had breast cancer, I know I can't "cross it off my list".  I constantly worry that i will come back or metastasize.

Lynda, I'm sorry you can't get past your worry. Unfortunately, worry doesn't accomplish one darned thing except to make you feel bad... I hope someday your anxiety will recede. In the meantime, read this piece on fear of recurrence - maybe it'll help you out a bit? Good luck- PJ

stupid articles I've ever had the misfortune to read.  I've been there 3 times and there's not one thing about it that I'm glad to have experienced.  The only thing I'm glad about is that I'm still alive and would be even happier if I'd never gone through BC.

Wow, sounds like you're pretty angry about your experience. I try to live by the maxim, "The only thing we can control in life is our attitude." It helps me cope. Hope you're able to get to a better place eventually... PJH
