hello family,                                                                                                            Today is thursday may 1st. Cheryl is at work and probably feeling pretty good as she did yesterday. We were at the oncologist's office tuesday they started her on a new chemo regimen of Avastin, Doxil and is continuing with Zomata. Ixempra and Xeloda were stopped because the cancer markers were elevated again. I was in tears as they were starting another chemo. She was feeling much more enrgetic than she was in weeks by the time she left after 4hours of IV's. It was good to see. The oncologist took some time at my request to talk with me. He feels that there is a greater chance of the new chemo working than not.

But explained the process of progression if not. A few good things happened though that are a good sign. First was her outlook changed greatly from the time we left the house sharing each other's fears that Dr. H. would have bad news and the scripture that says in Job "my redeemer lives". As many old testament readers are aware Job was restored to a more abundant life after his trial with a  horrific disease that seemed, like would takes his life. We left home with that hope and it got better. second was how she felt a sensation in her back were the tumors were which according to the nurse's means that the chemo is working, third she felt good after leaving the oncology center, fourth we picked on eachother when I came home from work last night. ( i.e. we laughed)Smile.  To those looking for help and encouragement I hope you find it reading these shareposts as do I. Hang in there you don't walk this alone.
