I have been recently diagnosed with IDC with a tumor size of about 1cm.  I'm curious to know if anyone has any input on whether or not the location of the tumor has an impact on prognosis?

Sherrie, I'd say usually the location doesn't make any difference. That might not be true if the tumor was located way up towards your armpit, close to lymph nodes, where it might more easily make its way into a sentinel node. This sounds like a good question to ask your doctor at your next appointment. Good luck- PJH
