I have been recently diagnosed with IDC with a tumor size of about 1cm. I'm curious to know if anyone has any input on whether or not the location of the tumor has an impact on prognosis?

location makes a difference?

That might not be true if the tumor was located way up towards your armpit, close to lymph nodes, where it might more easily make its way into a sentinel node. This sounds like a good question to ask your doctor at your next appointment. Good luck- PJH
