At first, I just slept in, and napped, trying to get my strength back. I am tolerating them well, the reddness is not too bad, but then I use my special cream without fail, at least 3 times a day. The fatigue is pretty bad - I am sleeping three or more hours during the day, and still sleeping well at night. I am good for a couple of hours each day, in terms or real activity. This was the first planning session for the radiation treatments. The next will be Friday next week. I also met with my medical oncologist. We discussed the hormone therapies - she concurs that I do not need chemo, thank goodness. She explained the two common drugs and their side effects. My RA is acting up again. My hands were cramped and swollen. Probably brought on by too much work in the yard. Complicating things, the incision sites for the sentinel node biopsy and the lumpectomy are a bit swollen and sore. Again, probably because I did too much.
