About Me

I was 49 yrs old when I was diagnosed with breast cancer,I had extensive ductal carcinoma in-situ in the right breast only. Due to the fact that I also have diabetes and many other health issues, I chose to have a double mastectomy with reconstruction right after surgery. The doctors were able to get all of the cancer, and now I am facing 18 month of reconstruction and recovery. But I am very greatful for the out come, because I know it could have been a lot worst. I have a beautiful daughter with 2 wonderful little grand-son who keep me laughing all the time. Children are wonderful so innocent. And after 18yrs of marriage, and 15yrs of being divorced, I finaly found the man of my dreams. And we are facing this challenge together. 1Stepaheda
