From Ali McGraw's unapologizing romantic in "Love Story" to Debra Winger's wise-cracking daughter and mother of three in "Terms of Endearment," movie cancer patients usually die a beautifully poignant and peaceful death, or else, are so sick, they are beyond ...

...for the nice comment. You can definitely get all of these movies on Netflix. They may be hard to take all at once (at least it was for me), but I definitely recommend them.

    Michelle,

Thanks for the post.  I just finished chemo a few months ago and I've avoided a lot of these "cancer" movies...a little to raw yet for me.  I just watched the movie "I wore Red Lipstick to My Mastectomy" last night....it was one of those poignant times for me...cried through the whole thing!!  It might be awhile before I watch another one...but now I have a list and synopsis of what the movies are about!!!

    Sincerely....thank you!

Watched this movie tonight.  It had been on before & I enjoyed it just as much the 2nd time around.  Did make me tear up a time or two & brought back so-oooo many memories!  In November, I'll be a 30 yr breast CA survivor.  I thought I was young!  I was 32 & had been married to my husband for just 6 months.  It is nothing you WANT to go through, but it can make you a stronger person.  I feel blessed by God to still be here.  And, I'm indeed thankful to my skilled doctors (two have been called home) for making me do the right thing...a mastectomy followed by a year of chemo.
