Is this study being done for other cancer patients also. I am a ovarian cancer patient who received chemotherapy and I am tired of people telling me there is nothing wrong with me. I feel like I am going crazy and losing my mind.
I'm sure the study must be done by now - this post is from 3 years ago. However, we KNOW chemo-brain isn't "all in your head" - it's a documented side effect from cancer treatment, a real condition that many of us struggle with every day. You're not alone... PJH
I agree, they should be testing other cancer patients, along with different age groups. I had osteosarcoma and I'm 17 and have been done with treatment for 18 months. It's terrible that friends and family don't believe me, and at my age, you need someone that believes you to show that you aren't making this up.
I know it doesn't help your situation at home and with your friends, but I believe you. Everyone here believes you. I say do the best you can, and try not to let people get under your skin. There's not much in life we can control, but we CAN control our attitude to whatever happens, or whatever people say or do. It's tough, but it's worth trying... and trying again.
