About Me

I am a 46 year old single mother with 2 teenage children. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2005 and had a lumpectomy with radiation. My cancer was found on an MRI after a mammogram indicated some concern and an Ultrasound was ordered and my doctor suggested an MRI which the insurance company initially did NOT want to pay for. I was recently diagnosed again with breast cancer. Same breast. I am now about to go through bilateral mastectomies with reconstruction on 9-3-08
