Just Diagnosed with Cancer? Chat with Experts

The Sisters of Good Morning America's Robin Robert Join the Sister Study

By Sister Study Friday, September 26, 2008

Many people know that Robin Roberts was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, but many more don't know that her sisters have joined the fight against the disease. Sally-Ann Roberts and Dorothy Roberts McEwen are now participants and spokespersons for the Sister Study. The sisters hope to encourage women who are minorities, seniors and have a high school education or less to participate in this important study.

The trio is mentioned in the current issue of Essence Magzine so pick up your copy today!

Also, more coverage of the Sister Study and the Roberts sisters are forthcoming.

The Sister Study has almost enrolled 50,000 women who are between ages 35-74, but more women are needed. If you would like to learn more about the study, please call 1-877-4SISTER or visit www.sisiterstudy.org.

Robin Roberts and her two sisters share their story in People Magazine.
