I love your story about taking your son's picture to chemo.  At age 50, I was often the youngest person in my chemo room, so I'm sure your sense of isolation is even greater.  Many of the younger breast cancer survivors I know have found good support through www.youngsurvival.org.  We've had several posts and videos on this site from people who were at their conference this year, and I know they have an active website too.

HI !     I was interested to read your blog today.   I am 38 years old and was 36 when i first found the lump in my breast.   I had a lumpectomy, chemo & radio.   They put me into menopause while i was on chemo - hoping that by shutting down my ovaries my fertility may be protected.   I happily got my period back 4 months after completing chemo and now my partner and I are trying to get pregnant.   I completely agree with you about research, literature etc for young women, all the anxiety regarding fertility and menopause.  There really doesn't seem to be hardly any.   I'm terrified i won't be able to get pregnant.     My doctors don't believe there will be a problem and hopefully they are right!

Hope you are feeling good

kind regards
