    ...and for every woman who stands up for herself. We can't rely on doctors to make all the decisions for us. Each of us knows her own body better than anyone else ever can. When something's not right, and you know it - persevere. Like Frances. Thanks for sharing, Phyllis. - PJH

    PJH, thanks for your comment.  I hope my story helps someone else to be persistent in getting some action.  It took me from August to December to get some action. I wished I had taken the initiative to make an appointment with the best breast surgeon I could find when I first became concerned instead of going back repeatedly to the internist. I truly believe my persistence saved my life!  Frances
