    Your poem is eloquent and really moved me. I have had breast cancer at a relatively young age and endured a double mastectomy, so I can really relate. I truly believe in advocacy and being proactive.

     

    Thank you for an excellent poem and encouraging writing as a way of coping with such a difficult experience as breast cancer,

    I'm glad you could relate to the poem.  One of the ironies of cancer is that our very individual experiences are so universal.
