    Phyllis, thanks so much for translating all of the research out there into a very readable, useful piece. I appreciate the time it must have taken you! You're right, it can be awfully confusing choosing what to eat, with an eye towards keeping cancerr at bay. Like you, I enjoy walnuts, AND I have to count calories; maybe my daily 14 almonds for breakfast will become walnuts instead. Thanks again. PJH

    How about 7 almonds and 7 walnuts?  Almonds are mighty healthy too!  

     

    I did spend a lot longer than I usually would tracking down this story, but with the internet, it really doesn't take long to see if that news on the TV has a good scientific base.  I don't have a strong science background, so I have to rely on the credentials of the folks who publish or finance the study.
