    As a cancer survivor, I paint in acrylics to express my hopes and dreams.  My inspiration comes from photos of beautiful mountain and canyon scenery and unusual architecture.  I also garden as a way to heal my emotional state.  To me, pulling out weeds represents plucking out the unwanted aggressors, allowing the healthy intended plants to survive.  The same with pruning and deadheading plants.  It's all good stuff.  Thanks for sharing.  Jan

    You are right.  Gardening is therapeutic and is an art form.  Thanks for adding that to the list of non-verbal outlets for our emotions.  Keep on painting and gardening.
