got results today after lumpectomy on Feb. 4th

I got good news today and wanted to share it. On Feb. 4, I had a lumpectomy. Today I went to the surgeon to find out the results. Though the area of cancer was much bigger than he had thought, (it was 1.8 cm) he did get it all and the lymp nodes are cancer free. I am so very happy. And Now I Wait

So I've had the double mastectomy - September 15th, 2009. Check.   Bandages, drain, clips removed a week later. Check.   Follow-up visit with the doctor, only to be told one of the two nodes they removed is positive.
