I'm a fatty!

I have 4 treatments left in my Taxol torture after yesterdays infusion. Yayyyyyy. I can't even tell you how happy I am to be done with this crap after a year of treatment now. Trying to Look at things a bit differently, a tool to get through it

Moving Along, chemo before surgery?

Hi:   Went ot see my surgeon today and review all the information we now have and discuss treatment alternatives.  She went over all the tests and offered another option we hadn't yet considered.  She said since I'm now again a good candidate for a lumpectomy I should consider the alternative of starting chemotherapy right away... Read moreChevron

And Now I Wait

So I've had the double mastectomy - September 15th, 2009. Check.   Bandages, drain, clips removed a week later. Check.   Follow-up visit with the doctor, only to be told one of the two nodes they removed is positive.
