Hi, I was diagnosed with Stage 0 DCIS, and after lumpectomy, turned out it was high grade comedo type with a 5-51/2 centimeter affected area. new calcifications after radiation

I have just finished radiation for dcis in August. My first biopsy showed lcis. My doctor then decided to do a wide excision to further investigate the area. It did show that I also had dcis. I just had my first mammogram this week and it showed two new areas of calcifications that require two more biopsies. Is this common? I am a little... Read moreChevron
