2nd Biopsy: Cancer or No Cancer?

My lumpectomy was cancelled on Friday because of a possible 2nd malignancy in the same breast.   Since they found the second little spot on my mammogram, and it was on the opposite side of the breast near the chest plate, the biopsy procedure is just a little bit different than the first time.   The first biopsy was done on the... Read moreChevron

Radiologists and Physicists, My new best friends!

Hi All, So now I am really learning about waiting...just more waiting, but I am very confident that all will be fine. Today I met with the radiology oncologist(Dr. Williamson, lady) and she told me more than I ever wanted to know about radiation. So they have all this new cool stuff to radiate your tumor and not your lungs or your... Read moreChevron
