Dense Fibrous tissue and "normal" mammograms - you can still have cancer!!!
I am 61 years old and have had at least 30+ "normal" mammograms. In factin Jan. I had a "normal" mammogram and ultrasound. BUT, I knewsomething was wrong because I had dimpling and an inverted nipple in onebreast. I had pain in both breasts, and I had heard that breast cancerwas not painful so I wasn't worried. The verdict is in...
The envelope plopped on the table... and I knew before it was open. The nurse who summoned me to the tiny exam room to talk to the oncologist before chemo wasn't her bubbly self.
