Radiation - done

Hugs and more, Radiation was finished on Friday, the 30th. Im on Tamoxifen. About the rads, went well all in all, with slight fatigue. No burns, just a major tan on one side. I used Aloe Vera gel and that seemed to work. The only thing I have at the moment is joint pain. Does anyone have this after Taxol or chemo? No more zaps... Read more Chevron

My visit with the Surgical Oncologist........

After I spoke with an Oncologist last week, I was starting to feel better about this whole "cancer" thing. I even saw my plastic surgeon this week who agreed on most points, and offered his services if assistance was needed moving the tissue expander out of the way.Well after those appointments I felt like all was okay - apparently I was wrong... Help Please

I need some advice please. I was suppose to fly to the cancer treatment center in chicago on the 20th of April for a consultation and then tomatherapy radiation. My husband just found out today he got laid off of work. Through his work he has really good insurance. I am afraid now that I will not be able to go to chicago... Read more Chevron
