All HER2 Positive Breast Cancers Should Get Adjuvant Chemotherapy and Herceptin

From the San Antonio Breast Conference in December, new data shows a higher than predicted rate of breast cancer recurrence even with very small breast cancers that are HER2 positive. The data is from the first large study to analyze early-stage breast cancer patients with HER2 positive tumors one centimeter or smaller. All these women would... Read moreChevron

It's a local recurrence, and it seems to be just the same as the last time (in 1992, when I was 39) -- same breast, stage 1, E&P positive, no metastasis -- only this time I'm post-menopausal and there are 2 tiny tumors instead of 1. Since I had a lumpectomy, radiation and 5... Read moreChevron
