After mastectomies (breast removal), women can opt for breast reconstruction surgery. There are two main types of breast reconstruction: implant and body tissue. Implants made of either silicone or saline are inserted into the chest. Autologous reconstruction uses muscle or fat from other parts of your body to make breasts.
