2nd Surgery required

This is my first post since joining the group. I was diagnosed in early July with DCIS in my left breast, the most curable breast cancer of all. Hello everyone. I am a concerned partner of a woman who has just been diagnosed with cancer cells in right breast. She also has several cyst in her left breast. Can anyone share experience taking Tamoxifen? I'm 48, stage 1, neg node, hormone receptive. Seems this drug has some serious side effects. Not sure I want to risk the side effects.
