Q: Regarding dental problems after chemo/radiation. Reading questions/remarks from others.

I see my problems are not uncommon. Unable to see though if medical insurance covers dental work caused by chemo/radiation. Anyone know?

Generally not, Kathleen, as insurance companies won't accept chemo/radiation as a cause of dental issues. But do ask - you'll have a LOT better chance of coverage if your doctor writes a letter connecting any dental damage to your breast cancer treatment. Good luck - PJH

Thank you so much for your helpful answer. I will contact my PCP and my insurance company and see what they say.
