Hi Sene - The lowest price I could find for Arimidex online was $270 for 100 tabs of generic anastrozole (Arimidex is AstraZeneca's trade name). I don't know internationally who foots the cost of cancer drugs, but I know Komen for the Cure operates in the international arena; you might contact them (komen.org). Good luck - PJH

Hi there,
Drug companies will often provide assistance to those who cannot pay for the drugs. This is usually just a percentage of the cost but might provide some relief.
I have also included some links below with a bit of info on how to go about getting assistance.
My advice to you, though, would be to talk to your doctor or someone else at your local hospital about possible sources of assistance in your region.

Your financial assistance seems to only help people with NO insurance. What do you have for people in the middle who can't afford your drug? Please advise asap. Thanks. cd

Hi Caryl - This isn't a drug company site; it's a breast cancer community. So we wouldn't know what every drug company offers. I do know, however, that AstraZeneca, which makes Arimidex, offers a discount program if you qualify. It's worth checking out; take a look at this nonprofit Web site, RxAssist , for more information. Guys the markup on this drug is very high at some chains, I know a pharmacy in Florida that can sell you 1 month supply of Arimidex generic for $50 .. More questions call 8134755906... Good Luck
