Hi — Wow, you don't want to scratch yourself raw! I'd call the doctor and make an appointment to see what's up. Breast cancer isn't usually characterized by itchiness, but inflammatory breast cancer can feel itchy, along with your breast being hot/red/swollen. So it's worth getting it checked out - to set your mind at ease, AND get some relief from the scratching! Good luck - PJH

Laisha, keep your eye on this through the course of once menstrual cycle - about a month. If it's still there, it qualifies as a breast change, and you should see a doctor. If it appears to be getting noticeably larger or more red, then see a doctor sooner; you may have an infection that needs treating. Good luck - PJH
