Joyce, everybody's different. and everyone's hair grows differently  - quickly, slowly, fine, coarse... Usually, you'll start getting a little "peach fuzz" in several weeks. For me, it took 7 months to get hair that was about 1" long. Most people find their hair grows back different that what it was: straight if it was curly, curly if it was straight, and often a different color. It's kind of fun! Good luck- PJH

Hi Joyce,

I finished my chemo July 10th and I just had my first haircut last Wednesday.  My hair is still short but it had grown out at different lengths so I had it trimmed.   It has grown out very thick and verrrry curly.  It's soft like baby hair.  I can say I just love it.  Everyone is different I suppose it depends on how fast your hair grew before but just keep the faith and soon you will be back to paying for those hair cuts.
