I am wondering if repeated bouts of mastitis can lead to breast cancer? Or if there can be any damage caused by mastitis?

Hi - I've never heard of a link between mastitis and breast cancer. As for repeated bouts of mastitis, I imagine, like any chronic tissue infection, it could cause scarring... Have you voiced your concerns to your doctor? (S)he could probably tell you more about your particular history with mastitis. Good luck - PJH
