Hi Elizabeth— This sounds like something that's related to your period, not breast cancer. The symptoms you're describing are classic for hormonal changes that happen naturally with your menstrual cycle.  If the soreness and heaviness are bothering you a lot, why not call the doctor and see if you can  get some relief? Oh yes! That used to happen to me every month and had absolutely nothing to do with breast cancer - just the onset of my period! Do raise this issue with your GP, though. There might be something that can help with the discomfort (more water, meds, even exercise). And of course, it is always a good idea to mention any breast changes to our doctors.
