"Reading the Pathology Report" was really helpful, but I had a few questions.  My HER2/Neu score reads 1+ and I'm unclear about what that means.  Also, confusing is Mitotic Activity: 24 mitoses per 10 high power fields and Scarff-Bloom-Richardson Grade: III/III, poorly differentiated.  Does that mean it is more aggressive?  Thank you

Hi Deb - Yes, poorly differentiated and a III/III score means the cancer is more aggressive. I don't know what the mitotic activity in regards to power fields means; that's a question you'd best ask your doctor. And it looks like your HER2-neu test was positive. This means your cancer will respond to the drug Herceptin, which you'll probably take for a year. Hope this helps - PJH
