I was diagnoste with invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2 how serious is this to my health what is the next step..
Hi - This is probably the most common diagnosis of breast cancer nationwide; many women receive this same diagnosis. There's a long history of successful treatment, so you're lucky in that respect. It's serious to your health, in that you can't ignore it; you need to be treated. And your next step is to do what the doctor tells you; you'll meet with a surgeon, to have a lumpectomy or mastectomy; then with an oncologist, to assess what the remainder of your treatment will be. Good luck and stay in touch here - we can help. PJH
