It's good that you're concerned about breast health; it's something you really need to be aware of, once you're a grown woman. At this point, your chance of having breast cancer is less than 1 in a million, so please don't stress about that.
You could have pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve without realizing it; you could certainly be undergoing a hormonal issue of some kind, related to your menstrual cycle; you might have an infection developing, or... it might just be a mysterious pain that disappears as quickly as it came. But it would be incredibly unusual for this pain to have anything to do with breast cancer, especially since breast pain is seldom a cancer symptom; and as I said, you're very young to even consider it.
I'd suggest you track the pain; if it worsens, or if your breast shows signs of infection (hot, red, swollen, itchy), then definitely see a doctor ASAP. If the pain is still there in 3 or 4 weeks, again, see a doctor. And in the meantime, you really should share this with a responsible adult; they can help you determine when/if to see a doctor. Good luck - hope the pain disappears soon. PJH
Your family history puts you at significantly increased risk of breast cancer ONLY if you have a sister with breast cancer; or your mom had breast cancer before age 50. Other types of cancer in the family don't increase your risk of breast cancer, OK? So one less thing to worry about! Glad you're seeing a doctor. Take care, and enjoy the rest of your weekend. PJH
