Your sentinel node is the one closest to the tumor in your breast. Normal nodes wouldn't show any sign of cancer. Not sure what was being measured with the baseline, but a baseline count refers to the first measurement of something taken - e.g., you can have a baseline DEXA scan if you're dealing with osteoporosis, to assess how dense your bones are when you start treatment. Maybe you could elaborate on your question a bit more? PJH
