i have found a lump on my chest plate right in the centre of my breasts. i once had a spot there that i squeezed. could it be the spot infected? only the lump is hard and hurts to touch. it also seems to be growing. im only 15, is it worth getting checked out?

Hi - Yes, I'd get it checked out. Not because I'd be worried about cancer - it would be incredibly unusual for someone your age to have cancer; nearly impossible, in fact. But a tender lump on your chest could signal an infection, an abscess, or something else that needs to be taken care of. Especially if it seems to be growing, as you say. So best to have your mom or dad call the doctor, OK? Or see the school nurse, if that's an option. Good luck - PJH
