I was diagnosed w/early stage breast cancer, June 24 had a lumpectomy, July 24 and started radiation treatment October 15, 2008. I just started Arimidex two weeks ago (is there a problem starting this late after surgery/radiation)? Thank you.

Julie, the sooner you start on your post-treatment hormone therapy, the better. But is that 2 1/2-month lag a deal-breaker? Almost certainly not. Just be sure to take it every day from now on. Good luck - PJH
