Breast cancer usually develops inside the breast in the milk ducts or lobules, so it doesn't sound like cancer. This sounds more like a surface skin problem. You will want to let a doctor check it out if it doesn't go away in a week or so. If it looks infected or gets worse, check with the doctor right away.
