Q: good morning what about a lump in each armpit(right smaller and more define and one in the left arm slighter larger but less define). The one on the left is more painful than the one on the left.

the pain slowly run to my left arm. I have recently change my deodorant to one that I love, it keep me pretty dry. But also I had suffered from anti-fugal infection in my toes for a long time. I am going through menopause. At one point I though this was related to the change of life.I am also loosing a lot of hair when I take a shower or brush my hair, I try not to clean my hair everyday. In July 2010 I got a complete mammogram, that came out CLEAR.Also a complete blood work(clear). Pap smear and colposcopy, everything came out good. I am very concern

With both underarms showing lumps, it sounds like you might have swollen lymph nodes from an infection somewhere. Breast cancer very, VERY rarely shows up with symptoms on both sides, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I'd suggest you keep an eye on these lumps; if they're still there in a couple of weeks, you'd want to see a doctor and find out what's causing them. You might need a course of antibiotics. In the meantime, please read our post on armpit lumps; I think it'll help you out. Take care- PJH
