Trcia, it sounds like your doctor is right on top of this - could be scar tissue, could be another cyst, and unfortunately it could be breast cancer—as could ANY lump in your breast, of which the vast majority are NOT breast cancer. But that's why we get these things checked out - to determine exactly what's up and to rule out cancer. I don't believe they'll tell you anything immediately; usually they have to spend some time closely examining what they see, especially on the mammogram. But while you're there, ask when you'll hear the results, and if they don't contact you, get right on them; you don't want to be left hanging. If the next step is a biopsy, don't panic - something like 85% of biopsies show benign lumps. So - one step at a time.
