Q: is there an over the counter radiation burn cream for breast cancer patients?
First of all, do not put anything at all on the radiation area without discussing it with your radiation oncologist. Two over-the-counter products my doctor recommended early in my radiation process were aloe vera gel and Aquaphor. Later, I needed to switch to a prescription cream. So the condition of your skin determines the best product to use, and only your doctor or the nurse can look at your skin and your medical chart to see what would be best for you.
