Q: Is it common for your breast to hurt and burn 12 year after treatment. I had 8 chemo treatments, 37 radiation treatment.

No, I wouldn't say it's a common side effect for your breast to start hurting 12 years post radiation (chemo shouldn't have anything to do with this). This is most probably a new issue. It could be hormonal (unless you're post-menopausal); if it lasts longer than a week or so - or certainly if it becomes progressively worse, best to see a doctor, OK? Be sure to mention this is the same breast that received radiation. Take care- PJH
