Hi, im Shannon Im 15 and I found a lump in my breast and its very tender. Is it a cyst?

In my right breast just under the nipple, there is a lump and its a little red, and it hurts.

Hi Shannon,
Breast cancer at your age is very, very, very rare. In addition, cancerous lumps are not usually painful. That being said, it is always a good idea to talk to a doctor when you notice breast changes. This sounds like it could even be an ingrown hair - but why not find out for sure?
