Hi - At age 26, it's extremely unlikely you'd have breast cancer, and very likely you'd have fibrocystic change, which is common in women in their 20s. Fibroadenomas (benign overgrowths) and cysts can be quite painful, and can be felt into your armpit at times. I'd suggest you see your doctor about this; s/he can do an ultrasound, and find out if it's cysts that are causing this pain. If the ultrasound is inconclusive, you could always have a mammogram, or further diagnostic testing, but I'd bet the ultrasound would show a cyst... Best of luck to you. And do see a doctor, OK? PJH
