Hi Nicki - Is anything showing on the outside of your breast? For instance, is it red, itchy, generally swollen, scaling/dimpling, painful? If so, I'd ask to be checked for inflammatory breast cancerr, which is quite rare but often misdiagnosed. If nothing's showing on the outside, I'd say give the antibiotics a chance to work. If they don't, ask for further diagnostic tests. Inflammation usually signals an infection (tumors aren't inflamed), but if it doesn't respond to antibiotics, then something else is going on and you should find out what it is, OK? Good luck -PJH
