Hi Sandy: Tumor markers are released into the blood by tumors; or are the body's response to a tumor; or may occur in the blood for reasons not related to cancer, but signaling another disease. Different numbers refer to different types of cancers, or to the type of disease causing them; I don't know specifically what Ca-26 is.... I think this is a question you need to ask your doctor, OK?
